Social Anxiety Telephone Support | Seriously?

I stumbled onto a website that offers free telephone support for social anxiety, also known as social phobia.

Similar to Alcoholics Anonymous, this telephone support for social anxiety is a support group program.  It is completely free except for any long distance charges.

Think about this for a second, someone suffering from social anxiety more often than not also has telephonophobia as I mentioned here.  Telephonophobia is a fear of the telephone.

This telephone support group says you don’t have to say anything during these conference calls, but still, it is a telephone call.

The support group is also run by our peers who read from social anxiety books when there is a lull in the conversation.
